10th Annual Crystal Coast Boat Show is May 19, 20 and 21, 2017

Preparing for the Crystal Coast Boat Show

We are gearing up for the 10th annual Crystal Coast Boat Show, and we hope you are your family are too! As we approach this staple event in the Downtown Morehead City lineup, our Boat Show committee and Downtown Morehead City, Inc. team is hard at work, planning each and every detail of the Boat Show and partnering with key organizations in our area to ensure its success!

While boats are obviously a focal point of our event, we are thrilled to feature so many other activities for you and your family to enjoy. This year we are excited to announce a few new activities to our line-up, including the Sea Tow Kids Zone, a scavenger hunt, cornhole, a fishing game, ring toss and more. We are also featuring activities that were popular in the past, including the Rotary Cornhole Tournament, Antique Car Show, Sail Carteret sailing demonstrations and free sailboat rides and music from DJ Raymond Rigsbee.

Now let’s talk about boats! This year we will feature 23 exhibitors and 32 vendors, displaying in-water and on-land boats and yachts along with every aspect of boating that you need to know – docks, insurance, detailing, fishing rods and all things boats! And don’t forget about our food vendors. Local favorites will be around offering burgers, hot dogs, ice cream, pizza and many more delicious goods!

While we welcome you to drop by on Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21 on the waterfront of Downtown Morehead City, we also invite you to attend the Boating DIY Day on Friday, May 19, the latest addition to our Crystal Coast Boat Show lineup. Our partnership with Carteret Community College brings you a day of education where you can learn how to care for your boat engine, ways to prepare your fresh catch and the basics on boat construction. Whether you own a boat or are in the market for one, this comprehensive day of learning will give you the confidence you need to make informed decisions when buying and maintaining your boat. Plus, all proceeds from the day go towards a scholarship fund benefiting the students of Carteret Community College.
